Student Spotlight! - Paul Romanowsky

Paul Romanowsky is back in the spotlight—and this time he's showing off a pair of fantastic Old Forge pizzas after taking our Old Forge Pizza Class!

Paul reached out to let us know that he made what he called his best Old Forge Red tray ever, and he didn't mince words...

"To be honest, it was freaking GREAT!"

Even better, three fellow Old Forgers were there to taste it, and according to Paul, they all agreed... he nailed it! That's some pretty high praise.

Not content with making just one pizza, Paul also turned out a beautiful Old Forge Fresh Tomato tray that was another big success.

What the professors like about Paul's work:
Beautiful balance of crust, sauce, and cheese with classic Old Forge proportions
Excellent choice of a simple sauce—letting the Tomato Magic, grated Vidalia onion, and quality ingredients shine
Smart use of a 1/3 Grande Mozzarella and 2/3 Cooper cheese blend for that signature Old Forge flavor and texture
Most importantly, this was Paul's first time making Old Forge pizza with fresh dough, following the class recipe—and the results speak for themselves!

Watching students gain the confidence to make the jump from pre-made shells to homemade dough is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Seeing Paul continue to improve with every class and every bake has been incredible, and we're proud to be a small part of his pizza journey.
